Gentle Ben is a deluxe ranch horse, trail horse, rope horse, very trained and has a fancy handle! He’s been there and done that! A real cowboy looking guy and he is super safe and gentle! Ben has been used for heading in the arena and has been used all over the ranch we live on in two dot Montana to doctor, gather, sort cattle and has drug his share of the 6000 head of calves we brand in the spring to the fire. He’s been all over big country and has seen about all there is to see. He'll ride right between the reins wherever you point him! Ben has seen the Montana mountains, Arizona deserts, and even downtown Two Dot. Nothing bothers this level headed, confident individual. He’s the kind that will entertain the entire family. Handy and fancy enough for the top ranch boss and kind and honest for the kids. Ben has a good ground covering walk, and a smooth trot that will get you to the back of a big pasture. He willingly crosses creeks and rivers, is very sure footed in the rocky mountainous terrain, and easily navigates through thick brush, deep mud, and steep country. We even had some fun doing a little mounted shooting at the ranch last fall. This handsome guy rides very nice, has excellent ground manners and is ready to do whatever you ask of him whether it be leisurely cruising down the trail or being the top ranch horse, Ben will be your go to guy.
